“From working with Marcia I can honestly say that she is very detail-oriented and gets the job done! She has helped us with our insurance case with our boy and has proven time and time again that her clients are her main concern and will bend over backward to help you.”

“When it comes to a time where your mother/father can no longer live alone and they require more care than you are able to provide, where do they go? For our family, the choice was Northern Comfort Specialized Care. When Dad went to visit, he liked that it felt like a home and we agreed. The staff is dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring. They were with us and him for the last 8 months of his life and they made Northern Comfort his home. So when that time comes for your family, I would consider Northern Comfort.”

My dad is currently at Northern Comfort Specialized Care Inc. He’s getting good care. He’s safe, fed well, and he’s getting a little more personal care than in a larger facility, in my opinion. The staff members are all doing really a good job. It’s all individual rooms and no roommates, which is nice. They’re appropriately sized. Each resident has their own TV, so that’s a good thing. According to him, the food is pretty good. So at this point, he’s not complaining. They’re kind of lacking in activities. It’s assisted living, but the clientele is not cognitively functioning at the best level, or at a norm. They’re doing what they can do within the realms of what they have to do for persons of that condition. It’s very expensive, but again, it’s a higher level of care; it’s not standard. They have common spaces available, a living room area, and a dining room area. It’s cozy and a homey visiting option.
